Resource | 2-person eLearning studio in the Moore Centre for Business. |
Experience and impact | During AY20/21 Clare utilised the 2-person studio in Moore to deliver ACC10060 to approximately 300 students in the first and second trimesters. Clare used the 2-person studio to deliver her live classes flipping between slides for lecture delivery and the document camera to work through examples for students. This allowed her to demonstrate how to achieve answers to problems posed in class. Using the document camera in face-to-face delivery is a feature of Clare’s regular lectures. Using the facilities of the 2-person studio allowed her to maintain the consistency of this approach in the online learning environment.
In addition to live delivery, Clare also utilised the 2-person studio to record content for tutorials in undergraduate modules. As the 2-person booth is a custom built space, hosting a superior quality camera for image capture as well as being fully acoustically treated, Clare was able to produce high quality recordings for students using this space. |
