Technology Enhanced spaces are equipped with a variety of technological tools designed to enhance the learning environment, encourage independent, critical thinking and facilitate creative practice and production .

The benefits to such activities are many, including improved critical thinking skills, increased retention and transfer of new information, better engagement, and improved collaborative and interpersonal skills.
