Accessing Bloomberg Terminals Remotely during Covid-19 Emergency.
For the duration of Covid-19 emergency access to Bloomberg Terminals was available remotely/online. This provision has been discontinued with the removal of on campus restrictions.
The UCD College of Business have two analytics labs for both students and faculty, which facilitates a range of diverse learning experiences outside of the traditional classroom environment.
Real-time financial market data for stocks, bonds, currencies and other financial instrumentsThe Bloomberg Terminal is a system provided by Bloomberg L.P. that enables access to the Bloomberg Professional service through which users can monitor and analyse:
- News stories related to financial markets and national economies
- Fundamental information (from accounting reports and analyst research) about securities
- Information about past and future events like earnings announcements and economic data releases
The Data Analytics Lab (Q104) in the Quinn School is equipped with 12 Bloomberg terminals for accessing financial data. The Smurfit Graduate School also has 4 terminals which are housed in the Data Room.
