The F1 HELP key is an extra special key on the Bloomberg keyboard.
Use it to search the entire Bloomberg system.
Simply type in your search terms and hit the HELP key.
When on an unfamiliar page, hit HELP once to see what help documentation Bloomberg has available on that page/function.
Press twice to chat real-time with Bloomberg Help.
Hit MENU to return to the former screen.

The SEARCH key enables keyword search of the entire Bloomberg database.
Enter a search term in the command line at the top of the active panel and hit the SEARCH key to view results

Your function history or last run command.

To get news on a specific company from within the company page, select the NEWS key on the keyboard, then type:
CN into the command line for all news,
CN1 into the command line the for latest news.
To use codes, simply input directly into the command line in the upper left hand corner of the screen. For example, for news on the company Zila, type Zila CN.
To access the Top news headlines type TOP into the command line.
To access archival news type TNI into the command line.
Bloomberg Forum: Type BFM into the command line to access a series of interviews of CEOs, analysts, political leaders and others speaking about current events, their own industries or areas of expertise.

Quote line shows you the quote for a loaded security in your command line.

Quote Function brings you to the Bloomberg Quote function for a given security.

Hit the MESSAGE key for a shortcut to your Bloomberg emails.

The IB key launches INSTANT BLOOMBERG.
The INSTANT BLOOMBERG is a multi-window chat communication tool within the BLOOMBERG PROFESSIONAL service.

The MENU key acts like a back button to bring you back to your previous screen.
